Human Resources Assistant

Due to expansion we now require a motivated Human Resources Assistant to join our Award winning North Coast Isuzu Franchise and one of the largest used truck dealers in Australia. Successful applicant will be based in our Macksville operation but will be required to move between our Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie sites on occasion.

Previous experience gained in the Vehicle Sales and Repair industry an advantage, however your enthusiasm, motivation and experience from a heavy equipment, industrial or automotive background will also be highly regarded. Must have experience in the Human Resources field.

We require the services of a qualified Panel Beater. This position is located in the Macksville Industrial Estate.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Pride in your work and great eye for detail

• Work with and train and supervise an apprentice or trades assist

• Quality control checks from preparation to job completion

• Competent and confident in working unsupervised and in a team environment

• Availability to work overtime if required

• General maintenance and cleaning of all tooling and work area

Hydraulic and Electrical Technician/Assistant

Midcoast Truck Bodies is part of the Midcoast Trucks Group.

Located in the Macksville Industrial Estate, we specialise in all aspects of commercial vehicle bodybuilding and repairs. We require a Hydraulic/Electrical Technician/Asssistant. You will need to have a broad range of knowledge regarding electrical, hydraulic or fitting. Successful candidate will be someone wanting to grow with the business and be mentored by our experienced team.

Tasks Include (but not limited to):

  • Fitting/assisting in PTO and pumps.
  • Complete basic hydraulic plumb ups and system commissions and de-commissions of hydraulics.
  • Complete all clearance lighting , inverters , driving lights, uhf’s, isolators and battery installs.
  • Assist in wiring and commissioning of truck mounted cranes.
  • Complete de-commissioning of old bodies and wiring systems.
  • General hydraulic and electrical duties.

Skills Required:

  • Basic experience in hydraulics, valves and pumps, hydraulic hoses and fittings.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive wiring

Other:

  • HR Licence (highly preferred)
  • Forklift licence
  • Good work ethic
  • Physically fit
